luckily, penceramah kt surau 4 today's tajuk 'hijrah' wasnt too bad at all.. he's a 58 years old mualaf, chinese turned Muslim. its cool u see. cz he got to gve his perception as both party.. a non-Muslim n a Muslim. n wts interesting wz when he sumtimes speak chinese, n asked us to pretend dat we got it. haha~
talking about hijrah, the speaker stressed on hw we, the Muslims take our role as the host for our guests, i.e newcomers in Islam. it attracted me when he said, we sumtimes think too much about hukum hakam/sah atau tidak/do's n dont's, thus potreying a view dat Islam is complicated. simple example - when it comes to what they wear n wt they eat. see, when ppl are jz about to learn new things about Islam, jz let them get the idea of it bit by bit. we cn nvr expect them to leave behind their prev lifestyle in one go. they wud easily become reluctant to learn more. n gve up.
n also the speaker did touch a bit here n der about parenting n marriage. hw husbands shud lead their wife the right way. he said, men sumtimes are too bz thinkin bout polygamy. saying its sunnah nabi. nk ikut nabi. bt hw do they behave? ikut nabi ke? Rasulullah s.a.w is the best husband dat all men in the world shud look up upon n learn from.

n also, the speaker did share his experiences dealing with mualaf himself.. n i tell u, most of them are funny ones. haha. in dis one case, a mualaf has been a Muslim for almost 3 months, tp still xnk potong. bt he wanted to get married to a Malay girl. so, nk xnk, kne jugak la. because he kept on refusing to get 'cut', the speaker tried one way.
